  Get Your Credit Report
Before you can go about repairing your credit, you first need to review your credit report. This is a very important step and is not to be overlooked. As the previous section indicated, you have THREE credit reports to review, not just one. Not only should you obtain a copy of your credit reports today, but also you need to review them on a regular basis (every 6 months to every year) to make sure that the information contained on your credit reports is accurate. You have the following two methods of obtaining your credit report:

The Easy Way

The best method of obtaining your credit reports is to get a Three-In-One report which combines Equifax, Experian and Trans Union into one report. The advantages of obtaining this type of report are:
  • One report to request, not three
  • One fee to pay, not three
  • Only one report to refer to, not three
  • You can receive your report as early as the next business day
Use the link below to obtain your Three-In-One credit report:

The Hard Way

So you are not convinced that the previous method is the best way to obtain your credit reports. If you do not like the convenient Three-in-one credit report, your only other choice is to contact the Credit Reporting Agencies (CRA's) directly for your credit reports. You will need to do the following:
  • Write three letters (one to each CRA) requesting your credit report
  • Send three checks payable to three different CRA's ( $8.00 each )
  • Wait for up to 2 weeks for your three credit reports to be received in the mail
  • Review three different reports at the same time
If you insist upon using this method to obtaining your credit report, you can contact the CRA's using the following information:
